A high-speed ice showdown where teamwork, skill and emotions come together.

Ringette joined the Canada Winter Games program for the 1991 Games in PEI, and has remained on the program ever since.

The sport was first played in 1963 and athletes have the opportunity to compete at the World Ringette Championships, as well as, elite-level competitions within the domestic National Ringette League.

Notable alumni include Jennifer Botterill, Jamie Bell, and Dailyn Bell.
